Is it possible that you could achieve better marketing results by doing less? Now here's the deal. Michelle Mazur [00:04:35]: Marketing does 3 jobs for your business, and you need to make sure that whatever marketing you're doing, that you've got the 3 jobs covered. The cool thing is you need 1 or 2 marketing tactics for each job. That is it. But what I've seen is that too many people are doing 3 or more tactics, and sometimes a lot more tactics than 3, to get the job done. It's the person who feels like they need to be on LinkedIn and Instagram and TikTok and Facebook when, really, each of those places is doing the same damn job. And most of the time, they're not doing their job very well and deserve to be fired, but that's a conversation for another day. So this course is really about rightsizing and streamlining your marketing efforts. One of the first things you will do is assess how much marketing you're doing or beating yourself up for not doing and then eliminating at least one of those tactics, saving you time and energy and cognitive load, like, the bandwidth that it takes to be worrying about all this crap.
